It started with an old one-speed pottery wheel and clay dug from the banks of the river behind my family home in Indiana. Itook my first ceramics class at age 14, fell in love with it and have been throwing on the wheel since the 1990’s. If you select one of these stoneware pieces, know that it started as a solitary lump of clay. Time and much practice have helped make the design you now hold and we hope you may have many years of enjoyment with it.
